Hasbara Troll describes a faceless anonymous online social media nuisance who repeats Israeli propaganda (hasbara is Hebrew for 'explanation' and is translated as 'propaganda' or 'public rerlations') and attacks any public figure critical of Israeli human rights violations against Palestinians.

The result is often moronic. PEP contributor Proxima Centauri on the page titled Israel v genocide on the Liberapedia wiki who asserts that Arabs have always intended committing genocide against Jews.

According to Ali Abunimah, the Israeli National Union of Israeli Students (NUIS) has launched a program paying Israeli university students $2,000 to spread hasbara online for five hours per week from the “comfort of home.” American tax dollars at work!
